TAEUS® provides a solution for quantifying fat in the liver to help clinicians monitor metabolic diseases and GLP-1 therapies.
But TAEUS®’ potential reaches far beyond just a single application.
In the future, we believe that TAEUS® will monitor tissue temperature and function, helping guide procedures that treat conditions such as cancer and atrial fibrillation, or help identify arterial plaque and internal bleeding.
Monitor tissue temperature in real time, facilitating more precise application of heat or cold during energy-based surgery.

Watch the video >Understanding tissue temperature is essential for guiding energy-based surgery, which relies on heat or cold to affect tissues in the treatment of cancer, cardiac arrhythmia and pain management.
Today, clinicians typically use printed paper guidelines to estimate how much heat or cold will be deposited into tissues during energy-based surgery. That inaccuracy can lead to improperly administered therapy.

“Doctors aren't always sure where the [thermo-ablative] heat is going. They could hit a vessel or another heat-sink in the body and the academic models fall apart and treatment is ineffective.”
TAEUS® is being developed to enable clinicians to monitor tissue temperature change in real time on conventional ultrasound, removing the guesswork from this complicated procedure.
Thermo-ablative surgery is just one example of the healthcare challenges ENDRA is tackling. With enhancements to conventional ultrasound, we will plan to revolutionize what clinicians can see and do in real time.
The TAEUS® product is not yet approved for commercial sale.
